I really like this gadget. It is easy to place things I might need during the night beside me without knocking them off the dresser. I find this convenient and practical. I just got it so I can't attest to its sturdiness over a long time yet (but I'm sure it is durable); I can say that I absolutely love the colors. The other thing it seems to have on its side is as a "dog detriment." I have a rather clever & mischievous dog who is into everything; if you make it difficult for him to grab something, he will find something easier to play with--so far, he hasn't gone after things in the caddy so I am also impressed with that aspect of this product.
