This coverlet is beautiful, however the pictures on both my PC, my phone, and my work PC (Mac, iPhone, and HP respectively. I know monitor settings are all different so I really looked on different screens before deciding to buy) all depict this coverlet as a bright white. The color is closer to ...ecru... grey'ish white. Honestly it vaguely resembles the color of a corpse. It's not white. So take heed before buying this. I'll keep it, because my sheets are grey, and I love the tassels and the quilting - but if you're looking for white-white, or even slightly off-white, this isn't it.
The color is not pure white, as in the photo, but is an off-white, which works for me just fine. It's not lightweight, but a nice sturdy weight, and very pretty matellaise pattern ... reminiscent of my childhood bedroom. The fringe gives a cozy, retro feel to my current bedroom! I'm happy!!!
