I was always looking for something that would be hygienic for my kitchen sponge. I did not want the sponge in the wet field or contact the entire surface area touching countertop. As a healthcare professional, I found this the most sanitary option. It has enough room for the sponge to contact air, and also won’t have to lie flat. And sits on the counter space where it can be totally dry, away from wet surfaces. Hope this helps! Super cute of course.
