A closet full of love: our GiveBack with the Beautifully Flawed Foundation
We couldn't wait to share this one, because it's one of those moments that reminds us exactly why we do what we do!
We recently partnered with the Beautifully Flawed Foundation founded by pro surfer Bethany Hamilton, to support their annual retreat in Hawaii for young women with limb differences. We donated a whole collection of dresses so that every single girl at the retreat could "shop" the rack and pick out something that felt like hers to wear all week long. 🌺

What is the Beautifully Flawed Foundation?
The Beautifully Flawed Foundation is an organization started by pro surfer Bethany Hamilton to support and celebrate young women with limb differences. Every year, they host a retreat in Hawaii where girls come together to surf, connect, and feel completely at home in who they are. It's a week built entirely around confidence, community, and joy! Which, if you know us, is basically our love language too. 🌊🏄♀️ Here is their mission -
"Our mission is to encourage a broken world and offer hope to overcome through Jesus Christ. We believe there is a longing within every individual to overcome the trials, pains and difficulties of life. We believe that longing is answered and fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ.
With a vision to establish individuals to be overcomers in Christ, the family and friends of Bethany Hamilton, a world-class professional surfer who lost her arm to a shark bite at the age of 13, formed the Beautifully Flawed Foundation a non-profit organization."
How the GiveBack came together
When we heard about the retreat, we knew exactly what we wanted to bring: dresses, and lots of them. So we packed up a full collection of our prints and shipped them off to Hawaii!
Instead of just handing out matching outfits, the retreat set up beautiful clothing racks, the kind you'd find in your favorite boutique! Every girl got to walk through, try things on, and choose the dress that felt most her. Because getting to pick your own outfit isn't a small thing. It's a little thing that means the most. 🌸
Why this one felt extra special
We give back in a lot of ways throughout the year, but this partnership hit different. Watching photos come in of girls twirling in florals, laughing while comparing prints, and holding up hangers with their friends... it was proof of something we believe deeply: that the little things, like a dress that makes you feel like yourself, really do matter.
It's easy to think about clothing as just clothing. But for these girls, choosing their own dress for the day was about ownership, confidence, and showing up exactly as they are. That's the kind of magic we want to be part of, again and again!
