Supplies: Wire (spaghetti-like width) Tissue Paper (the brighter the better!) Scissors Green Frog Tape Wire Cutters 6" Pipe Cleaners
Steps: Step 1: Cut 12" of wire per flower Step 2: Cut tissue paper into 8x8 squares for petal papers (yellow and orange in photo below) Step 3: Cut tissue paper into 4x2 rectangles for middle of flower (black in photo below) Step 4: Wrap wire with frog tape
Step 5: Take tissue paper for the center (black) and fringe the two shorter sides 1/3 of the way
Step 6: Layer tissue paper in pile starting with leaves, petals, middle (black). Make sure middle paper is centered. Step 7: Do a 1" accordion fold to create fan shape
Step 8: Twist pipe cleaner around tissue paper accordion to secure
Step 9: Round the edges of both sides with scissors
Step 10: Starting with middle piece (black), gently pull tissue paper towards the center one layer at a time.
Step 11: Create leaves by cutting first layer (green) into triangles
Step 12: Attach flower to stem by twisting pipe cleaner around wire. Use frog tape to cover pipe cleaner and to secure flower
