As the first official weekend of Christmas shopping comes to a close, we're focusing our efforts on a little social good! Our office decided to unite forces to celebrate Giving Tuesday in a big way! Our awesome Office Coordinator, Deborah, connected us to two AMAZING local organizations, The Hubbard House and BEAM, Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry. The Hubbard House works with domestic violence victims and their children to provide shelter, outreach services, court advocacy, therapeutic childcare and so much more! BEAM is a community-based organization serving low income residents through food pantries, wellness programs and rent and utility assistance! We've adopted two of the 13 local families up for Christmas gift adoption! These gifts will benefit families currently affected by domestic violence.
We ended up donating 8 meals for local families! We are so proud to have contributed to the 462,080 pounds of food distributed!
