It does run big so based on reviews I ordered a small. Usually i wear a large. 5’7” 145 lbs. Very soft crinkled velvet. I know it’s summer already here in SC but it does cool off at night still so i wore it outside in the evening. To me velvet is the ‘new’ denim. I love it. Wiuld like it in a true purple or bright teal.

I wore this to the park with my kids, but I was totally daydreaming about wearing a black shawl with black boots and going on a date with my husband in it. It’s such a great dress. Very flattering too. The material is heavier than I expected so it does drag a little on the straps, just FY. So ***** girls, wear a good bra!
