Period Poverty Awareness Week Advances Renewing Dignity Mission of Eliminating Period Poverty

The Alliance for Period Supplies created Period Poverty Awareness Week (PPAW), May 22-28 to draw attention to the issue of period poverty and the negative impact it has on people who menstruate. PPAW is an opportunity for Renewing Dignity to continue spreading its mission of eliminating period poverty through distribution, education and advocacy.

Renewing Dignity x Natural Life

Our friend, Jan Healy, founded Renewing Dignity in February 2019. When we heard about Jan's new organization, we couldn't wait to help her!

 Patti, Natural Life Founder and CEO, joined the Renewing Dignity Board of Directors and started brainstorming ways to help this amazing organization! After putting our heads together, we decided to make the cutest Period Pouches to carry period supplies in. 

Each pouch comes with a helpful insert card that features an incredibly informative list of period myths written by board member Dr. Marta Perez-Chomat. It’s the kind of information that every woman wishes they had as a young woman. The best part is that 10% of the proceeds from these products are donated to Renewing Dignity to help their mission!

Period Poverty Awareness Week was the perfect opportunity for Renewing Dignity to spread its mission... Jan recently worked to help get a bill passed to provide period supplies in schools!
